Benjamin B. Ferencz, a former prosecutor at the Nuremberg war crimes trials and an advocate for human rights and the rule of law, is the recipient of The City College President’s Medal from his alma mater. A distinguished member of City College’s Class of 1940, and 2020 CCNY Honorary Degree recipient, Ferencz received the award from CCNY President Vincent Boudreau who spent one morning talking to Ferencz and one of the most remarkable thoughts from the legendary prosecutor was: “I ask myself "What have you done today to make the world better?”
